Yes they do, but these phones can be very simple and cheap (as little as MZN 1,100) and the driver app is very intuitive and easy to use, as proven during operational use by drivers.

If your driver does not have the required type of phone, Appload can for a small fee provide your company with feature phones with the App already installed and ready to use.

Appload provides training on the App to all interested drivers.

Appload is aware of the commercial and internal management needs of transport companies vis a vis driver management and control of client relationships.

If the driver works for a company, they will not have access to the clients’ detailed contacts, and reciprocally, the communication will be done through Appload. Drivers will have no direct communication with the shipper and vice versa, so you as the company remain in control of your business.

The driver will also not have access to commercially sensitive information such as the price of the transport or the value of the goods. Driver access is limited to essential information and input via the Driver app which is needed to ensure proper monitoring of the trip. You the transport company have full access to this data and can see what is happening during each trip.
